The Taiwan International Boat Show will play host to the brand new RP120 from notable Taiwanese yard Horizon.
The 36.6-metre yacht will be the largest on display at the 2nd Taiwan International Boat Show, held 10th-13th March 2016.
The yacht features exterior styling by US-based designer JC Espinosa and a contemporary interior by Luca Dini. “Collaborating with JC and Luca, Horizon has developed a superyacht that not only focuses on luxury but also livability,” said Horizon Group CEO John Lu. “The Horizon RP120 will be a true work of art, shaped and sculpted from various masters in their craft.”
The RP120’s wide beam of nearly eight metres ensures there is ample comfortable living space. On the main deck forward there is a master stateroom which includes a large bathroom and walk-in closet. Four ensuite staterooms comprising of two twins and two VIPs are located on the lower deck.
The interiors by Luca Dini are modern and efficient. “While there is a strong European influence, her styling also emphasizes comfort and usability, and the customized design details aim to complement the open layout. Dini chose to utilise breeze oak as RP120’s main wood – the light, neutral grey wood brings to mind a modern beach house surrounded by sand and sea, inspiring a feeling of tranquility throughout the yacht,” says the yard.
Entertaining was an important factor in the design. The main salon has a bar and a formal dining table capable of seating up to ten guests, and there is ample exterior entertaining space, including a table and sunpads integrated into the bow. There is also a Jacuzzi on the sundeck, again surrounded by sunpads.
