With the 140 King Baby making her public debut at the Fort Lauderdale show this week, IAG Yachts has announced that a 133 and a 155 are close to starting production.

IAG Yachts has updated the progress on its 155 (above) and 133 projects. The news comes just before IAG unveils its 42.7-metre 140 King Baby at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, which starts on Thursday.

A Letter of Intent has been signed and the final contract for the 155 is being prepared, the yard says. “The client is eager to start the project very urgently and hopes to lay the keel early in November, and we are working very hard to get everything ready,” says the yard. The 133 is also close to being started. “The contract and specification has been sent to the client for review. We are planning to sign the contract and start the production this month.” A 133 is already under construction at the shipyard in Zhuhai, China, and will be ready for launch in the first quarter next year.

King Baby was delivered to her America owner in August. The yacht has five staterooms and an interior in black walnut hand-crafted woodwork rivaling European build quality with both satin and high-gloss finishes. The 140 King Baby, as well as the 133 and the 155, feature exterior and interior styling by Evan K. Marshall.
