The 91-metre Lürssen Project Orchid, styled inside and out by Reymond Langton Design, has completed her sea trials and is being readied for handover to her owner.
Project Orchid’s crew will now be working closely with the yacht management and project co-ordination teams at Y.CO, who have been managing the build throughout, to prepare the yacht for delivery and handover later in the summer. She will be cruised privately, and will head to Norway for her maiden voyage before making her way across the Atlantic to winter between Florida, the Bahamas and the Eastern Caribbean. It is thought that yacht will be called Lady Lara.
Sweeping curves give the exterior a symmetry and elegance, with sculptured surfaces that create a visually exciting contrast as the light changes. Reymond Langton Design has also created the interior of the Lürssen’s 91-metre Project Orchid, which launched in May. Fold-down balconies are a feature of the accommodation areas.
