The yacht is the third to be commissioned from the Italian yard.
The 60m Series by Perini Navi is proving a success, as the yard has announced the sale of another yacht, with delivery scheduled for 2017. The aluminium ketch will be the third to be built, following on from Seahawk (pictured above), launched in 2013, and Perseus^3, launched in 2014.
The yachts feature naval architecture by Ron Holland and Perini Navi, with exterior lines done by the in-house team, and the latest generation of Perini Navi Sail Handling System Technology.
Fabio Boschi, Chairman of Perini Navi, says: “It is with great pleasure that I announce the sale of our latest vessel. In a very competitive market situation for large sailing yachts, this sale once again represents an impressive achievement for our Company, of which we are extremely proud.”
The yachts were developed with the specific aim of being performance-oriented whilst offering the latest in comfort, safety and living space, and still falling under the important 500 Gross Tonnes.
The yard is keen to build on the success of the 56m Series which sold 10 models, of which the 60m Series is an evolution, and is already planning for further sales. Burak Akgül, Managing Director of Sales, Marketing and Design says: “As a further confirmation of our conviction in the value of the 60m Series, a fourth hull is already under construction on spec.”
