Oceanco and Vitters have launched Project 85, an 85-metre Tripp Design sailing yacht.
The 85-metre Project 85 is built for performance sailing, and is designed to be as easy to handle as a smaller yacht. The yards say she sports a unique steering system, developed by Vitters, that translates the hydrodynamic forces on the rudder blades directly to helm, providing the helmsman with immediate feedback. The yards’ teams worked in close co-operation with the naval architect, the owners, and the owners’ representative Master Yachts.
The interior is by Dölker + Voges, and the yards say she has a modern interior across four decks.
