Enrico Gobbi of Team for Design has drawn his latest project for Oceanco on a grand scale.
The 86-metre from Enrico Gobbi is on a suitably architectural scale for something named after the iconic amphitheatre. In profile, the yacht is sleek, and has 14.2 metres, with some feature curves around the transom that offer some protection for guests on the aft deck stairs. The raised 19-metre pool is a stand-out moment, and with the glass sides it’s sure to be a popular spot with guests.
Just below the pool on the aft deck is a wellness area, an area that benefits visually from those wide side windows, opening up the fitness area and the sauna to port and starboard.
“Glass plays a big part in the design of Colosseum,” says Enrico Gobbi. The striking vertical black line of windows in the superstructure amidships are terraces off the VIP and guest areas. The yacht has an owner’s suite, two VIPs and four guest suites with accommodation for 14 in all, served by 28 crew.
The sundeck is equipped with a second large pool surrounded by sunbeds, a fully equipped bar and an observation area forward with lounging and seating area.
