It has been a successful week for US superyacht builder Palmer Johnson, which has signed new contracts for a 52-metre PJ170 Sportyacht and a 49.5-metre PJ48 SuperSport. Respectively the third PJ170 and the second PJ48M in their series, both yachts have top speeds of more than 30 knots. The PJ170 brandishes the classic Sportyacht lines and is built in the more traditional material choice of aluminium. Palmer Johnson is delivering the second PJ170 Sportyacht this summer, no doubt her new owners will enjoy the innovative spacious foredeck swimming pool and lounge area. The first new generation PJ48M SuperSport is also set to arrive imminently, boasting a futuristic feel reflected in her carbon fibre hull and superstructure. The SuperSport range hails the ‘next generation’ of Palmer Johnson yachts that are faster, more efficient, more stable and more spacious.
