The 2007 sailing superyacht Helios has completed a winter refit at Perini Navi’s Viareggio facility and is now on her way to the Caribbean. Work on the 45-metre Ron Holland-designed sloop, which was originally built at Perini Navi, included mast modifications and a repaint, and all rod rigging changed.

“Our timeline changed and it became necessary to speed the completion date up by several months, but the Perini Navi team worked diligently in getting the work done to meet our new deadline,” says her captain and refit manger Raymond Wroe-Street. “Although not a huge work list, it was an expensive one. Perini stayed well within the quoted budget and in several cases was able to undertake the work with a significant savings to the yacht. I can honestly say that they are one of the best shipyards that I have had the pleasure of dealing with during a refit project.” The yacht is currently listed for sale by Perini Navi USA.
