Riva has launched its flagship yacht, the Riva 122’ Mythos. For the iconic 172-year-old Italian boatbuilder, known for its elegant wooden motor launches, this is the first built in aluminium, as well as its largest launch.

The yacht, designed by Officina Italiana Design, Advanced Yacht Technology & Design and CRN’s technical and interior design teams, this is a significant step up from its predecessor, Riva’s 86ft (26-metre) Domino.

With a top speed of 27.5 knots and 25 knots cruising, the Riva 122′ Mythos comes in versions of between three and five cabins – the latest launch has three. “We are sure that the new flagship will be an extraordinary ambassador for its brand, for the Ferretti Group, and for the entire Italian boating industry, as a symbol of industrial know-how and unmistakable Italian beauty. We can’t wait to officially present it to all Riva enthusiasts all over the world,” said Ferruccio Rossi, Ferretti Group’s CEO.

The yacht will be handed over to her owner in May. See shots of the yacht in build here.
