Roman Abramovich's Eclipse was a surprise visitor on the River Clyde in Scotland earlier this morning.
The 163.5-metre Terence Disdale-designed yacht, launched by Blohm+Voss in 2009, had cruised from Norway, heading north of Orkney and across the top of Scotland, and down the west coast between the Outer Hebrides and Skye before arriving on the Clyde. Roman Abramovich’s Eclipse is currently at anchor, offering those on board some fantastic views across to Holy Loch and the Rossneath peninsula.

It is not known whether the Chelsea owner is on board or the reason for the visit of the yacht, though it is unlikely he’ll be putting in a bid for Scottish Championship side Greenock Morton, whose Cappielow Park floodlights will just be visible from the top deck of Eclipse.
