Northrop & Johnson has announced the sale of the 39.3-metre superyacht Safira. Built at Newcastle Marine in 2013, this explorer-style yacht features an ice-strengthened steel hull and Schottel Azipod drives to meet her commissioning owner’s request for a go-anywhere yacht with unsurpassed green credentials. All materials on board are natural, organic, recycled, sustainable, renewable or forest-certified.

Naval architecture is by Sparkman & Stephens, and she sleeps ten guests. Safira, on joint central agency with Burgess, was asking $19.95 million. Northrop & Johnson brokers Kevin Merrigan and Wes Sanford acted for the seller with Fraser Yachts bringing the buyer.
