Looking forward on the sundeck of Cantiere delle Marche’s latest Darwin 86 explorer Percheron. This is a go-anywhere yacht that packs in much more than its 26-metre LOA suggests. Built in steel and aluminium and designed by Sergio Cutolo of Hydro Tec, Percheron made her debut at the Cannes show earlier this year and is also set to star at the Fort Lauderdale Boat Show later this month. Following the Cannes show, Percheron crossed the Atlantic on her own hull, and after the US show season she’ll head to South America and the Galapagos. Cantiere delle Marche donates a part of the sale of each Darwin yacht to the Charles Darwin Foundation for the Galapagos Islands to help the organisation carry out vital scientific research.
A Darwin 95 is currently in build and the company has also introduced the Nauta Air range of displacement yachts, which includes the 115.
